Sales/Marketing Assistant

SFE Partners is growing and so is our need for additional marketing support! We’re looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Marketing Assistant to provide support to our existing team marketing professionals. In this role, you will work closely with the team to produce marketing materials, prepare presentation documents, research industry trends, and gather client data and input it into our database. You will also assist with event planning, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as necessary. Our ideal candidate has some marketing experience and is self-motivated to complete tasks on a deadline with little supervision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Oversee relationship with outsourced marketing firm
  • Support all brand and marketing initiatives
  • Execute marketing strategy
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Perform market and client research.
  • Create reports on marketing performance.
  • Responsible for creating client facing documents and presentations
  • Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with social media and website content.
  • Attend trade shows, company events as appropriate.
  • Organize and manage development of marketing collateral.
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; prior experience a marketing support role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Digital photography and video editing experience a plus
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills; comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and social abilities
  • Ability to spot emerging trends
  • This position offers a balance of a remote and in-office schedule.
